The time is ticking and it is almost 12 at night, the time to open the campaign and look at the pretty fireworks. Every year I spent my NYE with my two younger sisters and parents. We made oil balls. I know the name sounds kind of distasteful but I promise you they are delicious! It is kind of a dutch tradition, everyone in Holland eats them at NYE!
You can just buy them or make them yourself like we did. It is really not that hard. You can probably find a recipe on the internet if you would like to make them yourself. It is also idea to add some pieces of apple to the mixture. It makes the oil balls taste really fresh!
This was a pretty good year for me. I finished high school, went to university and met lots of lovely people. I also have had the time to do the things I love to do. I really hope 2013 will be as good to me as 2012 was.
I also have a few good resolutions to hopefully make it even better. I will try to be the best person you possibly can be. Do my best at university and maybe sleep a little bit earlier, stress less and last but not least, post more frequently on this blog!
I wanted to wish you all a really happy new year, with lots of love and joy! See you soon, in 2013!
