No time to say hello, goodbye

We all think we are more busy than we actually are. Everyone has the same amount of hours a day, but most people claim they don’t have time to do whatever… Of course you have time, everyone has it! The question is do you make the most of it? Do you place the most important things on the first place?

Happiness
Would you rather tick on your laptop all day or hang out with friends? The choice is yours! Just think for a minute about the things that really make you happy. Then think about what you have been doing all day. Are there any similarities?
I saw a mother on TLC the other day who was passionate about singing, but had not sang a note in years. Her excuse… she had no time. Being a mom is a full time job, but sometimes you need to take a little break. When she started to make more time for herself and started singing again, she became a much happier person and a happier mom!

I think it is so incredibly important to do the things you love regularly. To me it is dancing I just think it is magical and love it. To you it may be something else.. find that and make sure it is in your life as a priority. You always have time for the things you put first. Remember that time is a precious thing so waste it wisely.
Extremely busy
If you have extremely much to do, you are not doing it right. This way you can create an unnecessary stressful life for yourself. Think about where all these tasks come from.
Do you for example say yes to everything?
Yes, I am guilty! I am one of those persons who has an interest in so many things and I love to meet new challenges. But I learned that sometimes enough is enough. It is ok to say no sometimes!
Do you have high expectations of yourself?
It is alright to set goals for yourself, but try to achieve your goals step by step. Be realistic and do not get yourself stressed out. Remember that Rome was not build in a day. Besides that not everything is about being successful or rich. It is all about what you tell yourself and what you believe is important.
Are you trying meet everyones expectations?
I think there is a lot of social pressure nowadays. We compare ourselves with others who are the same age, but seem to be at a completely different stage of life. We are surrounded by people who seem to be living a perfectly happy life. People who have great stories to tell and cool pictures to share on their Facebook or Instagram accounts.
We are all waiting for some kind of acknowledgement of what we are doing. But if you focus too much on what other people think and expect of you, then indeed you do not have any free time left. Besides that it will be disappointing because it is just not possible to please everyone, so do not try to accomplish this.
Too much on your schedule right now?
If you ever feel stressed out because you have so many things to do, just reschedule some of your tasks and appointments. Or even cancel particular activities that are less important for now. This gives you more space to focus on the important things.
Relax
To make the most of your day you do not have to be busy all day long. Doing nothing is also something we need to do. It is important to have some time for yourself to chill out. You are not a robot so you need some rest as well.
