Little Christmax friends (DIY)

My lovely friend Nathalie was visiting me, so we were looking for something fun to fill our evening with. That day we went christmas shopping and came across a really cute craft shop. We decided to pick up some Fimo clay and make little christmas figures out of it! I am so excited about this little DIY project I think it turned out so cute!

The only thing you need for this DIY is Fimo clay and oven. I only bought four colors of clay, namely white, green, red and glow in the dark clay. You really don’t need a lot of colors, because you can mix the colors to get any color you like. I for example made the brown clay by mixing red and green clay together.
Just be creative and think about any cute christmas figure and try to recreate it by kneading the clay. I decided to create a snowman, santa, Rudolf the red nose reindeer, a christmas tree and a little present. I will not explain how I made these figures exactly, but I will give you four important tips.

Tips
1. Always start with the most important things and think about the details later.
2. I made almost everything out off little clay balls. The body’s, hats, buttons even the star. This makes it a lot easier to get a shape that you like.
3. Wash your hands before working with another color especially if you are working with white clay. This will prevent the colors from mixing together.
4. Use glow in the dark clay for important features to make them stand out, even when it is dark!

What do you think about these little christmas figures?
