It’s 17:30 p.m. When you finally turn off your computer and your eyes are red from staring at the screen. When you are tired from the long day at work and don’t feel like doing anything. This is when you wish to have a moment to relax. But what should you do on a night like that? Here are 7 things to do in the evening after work.
1. Have a spa night
Pamper yourself by having a spa night at home. Light a few candles and turn on some relaxing music. Enjoy a long warm bath, paint your nails in a lovely color and have a facial mask. I promise you will feel so fresh as a daisy!
2. Practice drawing
Tap into your inner artist and practice your drawing skills. Let your creativity flow and draw something, anything!
If the weather is nice, go outside! Fill up your picknick basket with your favorite snacks and go to a park in the neighborhood. You can either go with a friend or on your own. If you are going by yourself just take a nice book with you. At the moment I’m reading How to be Parisian and I love it!
4. Tea time!
When you are craving for some company don’t hesitate to invite someone over to have a nice chat with a big cup of tea. If you have enough energy left you can even bake some lemon cupcakes, yum!
5. Play an instrument
Learn to play a new song on your favorite instrument. I personally don’t like reading notes, so what I like to do is to go to ultimate-guitar.com and look up the chords of a song. Based on those chords I try to figure out the rest of the song. It’s fun, you should try it!
6. Serie night
Make your own popcorn and watch a few episodes of a television serie on the couch with your best friend. Succes guaranteed! I recommend to watch Pretty Little Liars, The Blacklist, White Collar and Dexter.
7. Watch the sunset
If you live near the beach like me, you have no reason to sit at home. Go have a long walk on the beach and stay there until the sun sets.
