Retro Casio


Say hello to my very first digital watch,  the Retro Casio in rosegold. It is functional, trendy and the color is absolutely gorgeous!  The Casio retro collection reminds me a lot of myself because the watches are kind of geeky and stylish at the same time.

The Casio watches were super popular during the nineties and nowadays we see these watches again! In the beginning the Casio watches were only available in silver and gold, but now they also have it in black and rosegold! Of course I had to get the rosegold one, I just love this color!

I received the rosegold watch a few days ago and it was love at first sight. The watch was a little bit smaller than I thought it would be which is great, because I have a really small wrist. To make it fit I had to adjust the hasp using a small screwdriver. It was really easy to open and move the hasp, but I had to press really hard to close it again. Luckily you only have to do this once!

This watch looks great with about every outfit. It is just really easy to combine, especially with an outfit that has some rosegold details. I recently purchased a white overall with rosegold details and I think it would look amazing with it!


Unfortunately my watch got some scratches after I wore it once and I have no idea how they got there. I don’t to crazy stuff, I basically sit behind my computer screen all day long.. I might just have been unlucky or it has something to do with the quality of the watch.

Over all, I think it it is a great watch so am kind of sad about the little scratches… I just hope it doesn’t get worse so I still can get a lot of wear out of it.

    Lisette, I like the color of this watch… I too like unique and different… I don't like following a path. It has been years since I wore a watch since I have my phone on my 24/7 and I wear a Fitbit… but these are nice, too bad about the scratches though… 😉 xox

    Super leuk horloge lisette! En ik ken je probleem met de smalle poljes… Echt lastig is t om dan een horloge te vinden dat goed staat en niet te groot is! Ik zag deze ook al op je instagram hij staat goed!

    Wat een mooi horloge zeg! De kleur vind ik ook erg mooi! Alleen wel vreemd van die krasjes, hopelijk was dat een eenmalig iets en blijft hij verder mooi!

    My friend is OBSESSED with those watches! He has one in all gold and another in black. I at first thought he was nuts but they really are fun, and look super stylish if you know how to dress them 🙂
