I went to two blog events recently. The first one is the Blog Society Knowledge Event and the second one is De Proefparade by Mr.Goodiebag at EYE in Amsterdam. Today I share my experiences with you.
Blog Society Knowledge Event
It was the first event organized by Blog Society and also the first blog event I went to! Before the event started I met up with three lovely bloggers Saskia, Linda and Alexa. We decided to have dinner at Julia’s.. Talking, talking and more talking. It is really cool to meet people who have the same interests as you do!
One hour later we arrived at the event. There were two people sharing their thoughts on blogging, it was really inspiring. They gave some great blog tips that I will share with you in a new series of posts that will be on 24/7 Stylish very soon, so stay tuned for that.
Everyone one was networking and exchanging business cards, and of course I had my DIY business cards with me. I got a lot of compliments on them, so I will make some more for sure!
De Proefparade by Mr.Goodiebag
The second event was totally different, I went there with Saskia. We were a little bit early so we waited outside for a while and enjoyed the activities of EYE.
When we arrived at De Proefparade we received a little introduction card with the brands on it. On this card you could write a few items you would like to see in your goodie bag, this way every blogger got a personalized goodie bag, pretty cool right!
When we walked into the room the first thing that caught my eye was the big table with food. It was a high tea, and everything looked so incredibly cute and delicious. I loved it!
At De Proefparade we were introduced to several relatively new brands. Every brand had their own little stand and we could talk to them to learn more about the brands. There were some stands with make-up, skincare, lingerie, cellphones, food and drinks. It was such a great experience. I met some really nice people and found out about some amazing brands!
One brand I especially love is Hands Of My Chocolate, don’t you think that name is brilliant? Their chocolate is sooo good, you definitely have to try it! They already sell a few flavors at Albert Hein on the highest shelve! Besides that this brand supports the Quality for a Better Life program. With this, they help farmers to grow their cocoa in a sustainable way while improving their family life.
An other brand that I really like is Santa Verde, their collection exists of natural cosmetics which I think is good. The main ingredient of the products is this big green leaf, which I forgot the name of. I got a few samples with me that I will review them very soon!
